Beth

Beth, while not being my dog, was however close to my heart.

She was a very tenacious dog. On one occasion when she was fetching sticks out a river, the stick got stuck in a tree on the opposite bank on one throw. Beth found it and grabbed hold and would not let go even though it was stuck fast. She swam round and round trying to get the stick free and would not come back over despite John calling her. Eventually John had to wade across and fetch her.

It was through Beth and Rags playing in the park that I met her owner John who subsquwently became a good friend. The 2 of them would alwase be niking off together getting up to some mischeth or other

I like to think of them where ever they are now still up to all sorts.
